hi all- I was working on a person yesterday (long time client)and while I normally do more TX work NMT.....I do with some people delve into other things.just so you know I have some training in polarityspeaking with guides and such and have been doing itfor many years.now many things came up in our session but the disturbing thing for me (if thats the right word) is that when ever I touched her (L) 8th rib head I would lose my breath to the point where I could no longer work  that area beacuse every time I would work that area it got worse the last time I could not breath at all.further more I had several dizzy spells last night. I'm better today but my morning coffie wasn't as good as usal.I sopke with her as it was going on and she felt nothing but wondered what it could mean and I (sense that has never happend before)  have no clue.so my question is what do you think that ment?or was it nothing?

Oh, it meant something.  You felt it.  Left side, 8th rib ?  Lungs, stomach, spleen?  Anxiety??Panic??  Do they always "feel" what you are "doing"?  Sometimes, their reaction is delayed.  Maybe an emotional cyst from an old physical/emotional trauma? :-/

yesI keep being told anxiety but when I brought that up with her she said she didn't have any.most of the time they feel something but not always the same thing that I feel and often times I don't feel as much as I see or hear from guides.it is hard to explain some times I get feelings that come with a picture to help me understand the feeling better I guess. not sure I never question why it happens just except that it does.I will add tough with out much detail I have had a few stomach problems since this happend.i had a thought yesterday that I might have taken something from her as part of her healing.I have heard of some Indain men that would heal by taking your sickness into themselvs.maybe I have found a new gift (That would be cool)she called yesterday and said it felt as though she was floting instead of walking ever since or vist so she is happy. I think your right on with your thoughts I'd love to hear them if you have any moreThanks

Sometimes you may find something that they are not ready to work on yet!  Hence, they won't want to talk about it, (or are unable to for some reason).  Be careful about taking on other peoples "pain", it can be very draining.  If you are able to recognize that it is not yours, then it can be dealt with and discarded much more easily.

I don't think it was something she didn't want to talk aboutbecause she is so into what we do but I know all things are possible.I always work with or through my guides and the clients so i feel very procted.but this was very strange it wasn't like something was making me go there it just happenedhard to explain.I feel as though something in me has changed because things don't taste the same any more and this will sound wierd but it's as if i no longer see the full color spectrum any moreit's like something is missing or maybe something is gainedand I just can't see it yetthank you allI just got done with my sage rub down

well i don't know if it was the right way butwhat i did was take a sage stick and rub it over mychest then to help clear the space I light the stick and let the smoke clear all the bad stuff away.it must have worked cause all is better nowthanks to all

It sounds like you pulled into you some bad energy. This happens when you do not protect yourself before a treatment. Shielding is very important! Not only can you take on another person's ailment without it but you can also take on any negative energies or beings which they may also carry. Protect yourself and shield yourself when working on someone. White Smudging is great anytime.. you can burn a few pieces and smoke the house as well as yourself completely to clear out negative energy.. just turn off the smoke detector You should also be using your meditations as well performing self-healings to help you recooperate.There are several modalities of using energy to heal with, in some, the healer uses their own energy, which tires them greatly.. pulls the energy into them then forces it out.. this takes a long time to perfect and is not only more tiring for the practitioner but opens them up to a multitude of negative energies passing through them.Be careful!Have fun!

I have also had experiences like this. I have felt pain from clients, and just know things about them. I sometimes even get images from clients. I have worked on many Marines that have recently returned from Iraq and have gotten disturbing images from them. Not really full picture images, just little flashes. A lot of fear and anxiety comes off of them. I have managed to leave it out of my personal life, but it just makes me feel so bad for them in a way, and in another way glad that they are safe back here. I have a male client that I found out he was a serial cheater by touching him. Someone that knows me and did not know he was a client of mine gossiped to me about him later that she knew his wife, and he had cheated many times. I have always been like this with people that are close to me, but it is a little disturbing from clients. Is there a way to harness this and use it to better help my clients?

I have looked alot into being an empath. About a year ago, my health started to sharply decline and I was plagued by anxiety and panic attacks. Well, needless to say, I couldn't live like this anymore so I started seeing a social worker who also happens to be a reiki master. I have learned that some, not all, of my anxiety is from the people around me, I am feeling what they are and my body doesn't really compute it correctly, so I got anxiety! Since then, I perform a lot of grounding excersies before and after each massage. Being the healers also has to do with our sensativity to others. If you didn't have this, it is likely you would not be a healer, so we all have a inner gift of giving and unfortuatly sometimes recieving energies all the time. Talk to any Reiki master and they can give you amazing insight on grounding and clearing, and better yet take some reiki courses, that is what I am doing!
