being involved in a war or starting it are two totally different things........
That's like saying being in an accident and causing an accident are the same things.....
yeah, pretty wild eh? lol.....
But more rationally, you figure they started a war that ended with all the islands in their area being pounded by millions of tons of explosives. Then the final 2 big booms of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. You have to figure that did some damage to, or had an effect on, the earth's crust. Kind of like Chaos Theory. All that pounding 67 yrs ago might have had an impact on the events of the past week.
I mean, everyone is always talking about damage to the environment, but what effect does all the mining etc have on the actual earth itself? I know it is a huge structure but even the strongest bridge, or building eventually wears out or succumbs to the years and years of abuse. Another example would be a carbide tip on a table saw blade. It is 1,000,000 times harder than the wood it is cutting but they get dull in no time......
