MP's income

I visited a MP tonight just before closing time. After we were done, we left together. I went to my car and she went to hers. Now, this wasn't a high end spa and the girl was average at best (late 30's Asian woman). She had a very nice family car. So, from my assumption, even working at an average spa, these girls make a decent living. I have talked to a few of them and some have regular jobs and only do this part-time for extra cash. So, don't feel sorry for these ladies, they are doing just fine financially...

They do make good money but never judge anyone's income by the car they drive.

Some of them do take cabs and are still filthy rich.

In my profession, most of the people drive fancy cars and wear suits but a lot of them are totally broke.

Not true. I do the books for some of these places. Depending on how busy they are some can make less than $100 a day.

Most MPs make only fast cash for a relatively short period of time in their lives, with no guarantee of future earnings, with multiple hazards and risks in a volatile market. It is very simplistic to derive economic status from the care that someone drives as we live in a credit society, where much can be had or rented, until the bills come in. Two Porsches stopped at the a red light, one could be paid for, being driven by an affluent person and the other by someone who is completely leveraged, and living month to month and just barely making credit payments in all aspects of their life.

Mao, Please see my post #35 on this thread. I was just trying to shine some light on this subject by giving actual figures as they were given to me by an MPA. I personally am not concerned with what an MPA makes but obviously, judging by the number of posts on this thread, a lot of board members are curious. I think many members figure that based on what they're paying, the MPAs must be rolling in dough. And perhaps they would be if they actually worked 8 hours or more a day. But look at post #20 from a former MPA. I think it is in line with what my MPA told me.

Or mostly tax free. The smart ones would pay something in income taxes.

So, 60k becomes 90, 150 becomes 250, etc.

There are some busy girls at top MP's that are kept busy the entire shift (pre-booked almost entirely before there shift starts) and come very close to that nearly every shift.

But really wealth from this industry, depends on how maliciously you choose to spend the money you have earned, unfrtunately.

James, If you read the last sentence of my post #35, I stated that the MPA I spoke with indicated that she paid taxes on some, but not all, of her earnings. While I have no idea how much the massage parlor superstars earn, I do believe that the earnings for most MPAs are below 50K per year. Again post #20 from a former MPA supports this reality.

You are quite correct. But that knife cuts both ways. No CPP, no health benefits/sick leave/ltd, no pension plan, no paid statutory holidays.

Why do you guys even care what they make or don't make????? Do they ask you what you make when you visit the ladies? Would you answer them?

I can't believe why so many guys are fixated on how much ladies in the adult industry make. Bottom line, it's none of your business, and it's none of the ladies business how much money you make.

Who cares about sick days or benefits when your making six figures, you can afford paying for medication whenever you need it. I would rather take six figures without benefits then 60K with benefits.

Just wondering, how do you do the books on the in-room money that the attendant receives? Do the MPAs honestly tell the owner how much money they make at the end of each day?

Smiley, I'm curious why you say that girls can only stay in the business for a few years. I mean if you start in your early twenties making a lot of money you should be able to continue making that kind of money for at least ten years. (That is, if you chose to remain in the MP business.)

Think what happens when they leave the MP business.

There is likely a large hole in the chronology of their resume. And their mindset is not really open to the realities of your average joe job.

I think it is absurd to suggest that if an MP is making $100k, then somehow she is living a luxury lifestyle. Even $100k post-tax is not that much in TO, and especially when their peak earning years actually decline substantially into their 40s (unlike every other profession)

You go girls! Get what you can, while you can. Seriously.
