Yes. One of my friend got caught for weed and another one at red light area. The police tried to scare him and said that they will tell his parents. They put him in lockup for 2 hours thinking that he will get scared. The kid was basically shameless. After lunch, the police himself took him out of the lockup and asked him "look, I don't want this to become more problematic. Give me some money and settle it". He said that he had no money. So the police understood that the kid is a lukkha. Police told him, "as punishment, you will clean the police station with broom". He cleaned and left.

Even the police doesn't know what to do with you after they arrest you.

Moral of the story is, stop giving too much importance to raids. The police are not hatched out of the egg yesterday. They can differentiate between hardcore human traffickers and chhapri people like us who are there just for some harmless fun. If you appear too scared, they might extract money but I've never heard of any mongerer having faced any more serious problem that lasts more than a day. It's just an embarrassment for a day then it's business as usual.
