Prices of bargirls

Hi all,

I was in Patong a couple of weeks ago with a few mates. We spent some time in Bangla Rd but acquired most of our ladies from the bars in and around Rat Rd and Sawatdirak Rd. LT was usually THB1000 and there were some decent lookers amongst them. In most instances there was no upfront negotiation and just left the money by the ladies purse or phone whilst she was showering in the morning. I also asked if they were catching a taxi or tuk-tuk home, if so I gave them an extra THB100 for the ride.

Obviously its low season and times are quiet so you wouldn't expect to get prices this low all year round but for now many ladies seem happy with THB1000 for LT

Nomis was responding to various comments regarding BG's in Patong refusing to go for less than 2.5k, 3k, 4k ... etc etc etc. and these discussions have been going on all over the boards (slim's girl refusing go for anything less than 5k rings a bell).

He doesn't really believe this hype. i certainly do not either from prior experience, although it was a few years ago - i still don't believe prices will have changed at all to get what ever girl you want.

nomis jokingly made a comment that a group of us should go to a bar (and we never said a-gogo.. i was under the assumption that we were talking about Beer bar, e.g. soi tiger or where ever), and offer some girls at some point in the night 1k, and see if they go for it... we're not trying to physically get them for 1k, we're just seeing if they accept and if they do, it JUST to confirms that the 2k+ minimum that girls in patong are willing to accept or whatever is actually nonsense. because it depends on the girl and the report you having going on IMO.

then in addition to that, to make the bit of fun totally work out in the girls favor, she gets the 1k for free just for being a good lass. so its a win for her

i see no harm or malice in it at all. and i don't see why it wouldn't be done in a discrete manner. its not like we're going to ring a gong and tell the world if a girl accepts 1k.

and i can't see any girl getting offended one way or the other. a girl is either going to get 1k for nothing, which she'll be very happy with. or a girl is going to smile and say no. they'll have heard Thai guys offering them 300b for ST, and Indian guys trying to get them for 500b. so 1k is not an insult or implausible

but all the debating has sucked the fun out of it now.

i still see it as harmless, myself. to be honest
my wife was at her mom's and i hit Suk at 3am for a few beers and food
FL, super cute and 20 yrs old, sits next to me and is a nice kid
i bought her a drink with zero intention of going with her
she asks me if i want to go with her
i wasn't going to but i did ask her how much just out of curiosity because i am now older than i was when mongering and i have heard some high prices quoted here
obviously, in the end, i didn't go with her but i don't think she was too fussed
she was happy with the 2 drinks and probably, just like every bg, has guys "kicking the tires" all night. it's part of the job
as long as the guys do it ina fun way, which they will, no harm

I think they remember me cause I'm the guy that they've ignored because they think i'm Thai...and when i walk on by and they hear english come out of my mouth, they're like..omg he's not Thai!

I use to get ignore by all of Soi Eric's bars until i reach MTB the first few days...and now that i've had a beer there a few times, i get the, "where are you from?" and "i always see you! come here"


I think i should wear an american flag t shirt to get attention if i ever wanted it

one night at Dingos a very drunk Scotsman decided he was going to try and get a girl for 500 baht and not buy a LD or pay a BF.

anyway he wandered off to the toilets at the end of Soi Croc and seforum.xxxgered back some time later with a girl on his arm from another bar.
BG asked for a drink and he said no...
there was some kind of buy one get one free drink promo on in the soi so he ended up buying one and gave the BG the free one.
the guy and his mate got paraletic and seforum.xxxgered off somehow.the BG could see that it wasn`t going to happen so went back to her bar.
she seemed to be really desperate for some baht and was banking on it and was pi55ed off.

weak act IMO..

Is it really worth negotiating over a tenner? Fair enough if it's a couple of grand but for the odd 500 here and there it's not worth the hassle.

I always get 500st 1k lt. But i can be pretty generous with tip and ladydrinks if im in a good mood. Dragon is a funny gogo though. I've had my advances shot down several times from a couple of the stunners. I was 29, very fit and burned money like the world was ending tomorrow and still couldnt score with some of them.

I saw one of the dancers with some young korean looking dude so i assume some of them have rich "boyfriends".

Not sure what the going rate is in Phuket and Pattaya these days, but spent several months in Bangkok last year and the going rate for the top Go Go girls for long time is probably 4000 baht, but nearly all will be happy to go for 3000 if they think you are a decent guy. For me I always go long time and tend to offer the girl 3000 regardless of what bar she is from. If she asks for 4000 then I'll just smile and say thanks but no thanks. Virtually every Cowboy / Nana girl seemed happy with 3000 LT at the end of last year. Some would have probably gone for less, but I think 3000 is fair and stick to that across the board.
