Whatever happened to the post a few days ago about the guy who had to wait in his room for a half hour? This is not the only instance.

Well all this back and forth about Rayne will not stop me from going there when I get home in July. I am looking forward to meeting Rayne and one or more of the lovely ladies who work there, as for being snubbed,treated badly whatever happened that night roll with it there are much bigger things in life to worry about. Thats my thoughts on the matter. Thanks

This is a review board, that's what massageplanet.net is all about, to write reviews, talk about your experiences at mp's and agencies, and let other customers know the facts. Customers come to this forum to read other people's reviews, that's the whole point. The majority of the visitors to this forum would appreciate knowing about Rayne's actions, and would appreciate knowing that the owners of Muse discourage talking bad about customers onsite within an earshot of other customers, but encourage the bashing of customers offsite. The fact that you're trying to censor, silence and bash others who post truthful and accurate reviews in an attempt to get freebies is disgraceful. Shame on you.

I was there that day too and although Rayne may not have done a perfect job, she did the best job she could under the circumstances.

I don't really think this is a Rayne issue, but rather a personality issue.
I think this thread speaks more about egos and how we as individuals see ourselves and others.

I too had to wait, but instead of making it a negative, I made it a positive.

The waiting gave me a chance to mingle with the other clients.
It was fun trying to figure out who were massageplanet.netites there.

More important, it gave me a chance to mingle with the ladies and that can't be a bad thing.
Not sure about you guys, but it's not often I get to hang out with so many hotties.
And I could not stop staring at Shayne's perfect boobies. I'm just a dirty old man.

Mr. TheMechanic, I find it strange that even after going to Muse AFTER the openhouse to get massages with other girls, and meeting the owners, you posted this complaint. Why the change of heart? Why didn't you mention this to the Emily or Riley when you saw them? If you're a customer who thinks Muse is a 'world class MP', I doubt you would've posted this complaint publicly but would've chosen the direct route by simply mentioning it to Emily or Riley, or with an email/PM. I can respect your preference for anonymity, but the details in your thread would be revealing enough to them as to your identity. I'm sorry but I think that the direct approach would've been more effective, avoided the drama, and you might have had a duo with Emily or Riley too (just kidding on that one bro but I'm sure they would've given you a door freebie to make it up to you). Now, you don't want to patronize them? Another change of heart here?

IMO, the OP is entirely justified In sharing his experience on the board. massageplanet.net exists to share information; the good, the bad and the ugly. Is it overly dramatic? Absolutely!

The OP is also justified in his frustration at missing his appt. I'd have been upset too if I was told to come back in a certain amount of time, only to find out my appt had been given away.

Golfdude has hit the nail on the head. Management created the chaos by encouraging walkins and then leaving poor Rayne to her fate with upset clients. This is not a personal attack on E & R, as I know they want to run an AList spa. In the corporate world, this would be interpreted as an "opportunity for improvement." Maybe future open houses should be just that: social events. Clients come in have a drink and meet the girls. They can be given vouchers for future appts. Anyway, E&R are great at marketing and I'm sure will figure something out.

As for Rayne, I think she should be cut some slack. We've only read good things about her and I honestly think she did her best under circumstances SHE didn't create.

One final note to the OP:

Not every girl is going to like you. It's their job to smile and be polite, but MPAs "talk" in the back room. (I'm talking generally now, not just about Rayne) It's no revelation that SOME MPAs can't stand clients and view us as walking ATM's. Just smile and nod, get jerked off and LEAVE. If you meet an MPA you have a real, honest connection with that's a huge bonus

Again, this is a review board, and other customers deserve to know about Rayne's behaviour since her trash talking directly affects them. Before reading the owners' response I thought they were a world class mp, but from their response you can see that they're more sorry about being caught than they are about fixing the problem. Trash talk is encouraged offsite without any customers around, but just not onsite within an earshot of customers. That sends a great message to the patrons, right? I'm sure they must feel really appreciated. Besides that, I'm pretty confident that every white knight and fanboy in this thread would have made a similar thread if they made an appointment, and their appointment was not honoured, wasting their time and gas in the process. Rayne's actions are indefensible, that's the bottom line, and that's the end of the story.

If you sift through all the comments made by white knights and fanboys, and those trying to suck up to potentially get free door fees from Muse, you can see that most people would be equally as pissed at Rayne's repeated actions of unprofessionalism, rudeness, and incompetence. In addition, this is a review board, and the people reading this forum should be able to read about real things that go on, like Rayne bashing customers left, right, and centre. Not everything is always rainbows, butterflies, and lollipops, I really don't understand why some of the white knights and fanboys are trying to censor real and honest reviews, it makes little sense. If bad things go on at an MP people have the right to know about it.

Wow - what an epic! Although the OP had a legitimate beef to start with, it seems he has descended into megalomania (the truth will ultimately prevail) and the back and forth has ultimately pushed the OP into a pretty indefensible corner, IMO. It's totally unrealistic to demand an employee be fired simply based on your say so. People make mistakes and misjudgements, especially under a stressful situation, but unless the mistake was beyond the pale, you learn from it, you forgive, and you move on. The main reason why you forgive, by the way, is not for the sake of Rayne or Muse, but for the sake of yourself. I think that would be beneficial, because the OP seems to have become consumed by a level of anger and righteousness that is probably not healthy. I'm sure Rayne / Muse will be more discreet about their opinions of clients in the future... that should be enough - no one's head needs to be served up on a platter.

Based on what? I need to give a reason? HAHA what a joker but just for you, here's a bit of a reason.

I've met Rayne shes nice enough, and I was at the madness of the Open house.

Lots of places have a bevy of beautiful ladies, so I'm not sure what your point is.

If you cracked under the pressure at a rip joint and grabbed a woman's ass it would be assault, whether or not you are the nicest guy in the world.
If you jay walked, you'd have broken the law, whether or not you are the nicest guy in the world.
If you crack under pressure and need to vent about ugly or unsavory patrons within ear shot of other patrons, well in my book you've crossed the line whether or not you are the nicest receptionist in the world.

What should be done about it? Firing is a bit drastic, reprimanding could work if done properly, a second meltdown would be immediate firing. The Mechanic should have been and maybe was compensated in someway for the unprofessional conduct of the spa.

The part that put me off of muse is the response that included "special types" which shows an underlying sentiment and basically did what rayne did in a more veiled and polite manner. So, there are loyal customers and down right blind fools.

Decore wise Muse is OK, it has a very clinical feel, not a sexy feel, it is not top tier like SRM, AGS, HFH, in time it may be if that's what the owners want.

Muse is still young and has some growing to do before I'll return.

And you blowhards need to keep it real, or you'll degrade the whole industry one venue at at time.

You seem to enjoy following me and you are free to keep your thoughts to yourself. If you are referring to an banned sp with the initials vb, you should mind your business. (I know I'm coming late to the party but I don't attend MPs too much anymore so I don't venture into the Massage Section that frequently.)

TheMechanic felt he was wronged and he wanted to express his frustrating experience on massageplanet.net...Isn't that what massageplanet.net is for? To express your experiences whether it was a positive or negative one...
It's a shame that some members have to attack any poster who posts a less than positive experience on any agency, SP, MP and MPA....
Senior members are not posting reviews because they just don't want the hassle of being attacked...

I'm tired and its late and I can barely write a complete sentence....

As for Muse; they seemed to acknowledge there was a few problems and they were willing to work on it - so what's the big deal? Seems like the situation would have been settled pretty simply if it weren't for a few overzealous WKs....

I could care less about whether the OP (Mechanic) has personal grudge or not as i don't even know this guy. But the post was valid and merely a negative review of how the situation was handled. Obviously he wasn't pleased. Now go back to your first reply about your first reply and notice how you immediately defend the lady in question and try to discredit the OP's credibility and call him a whiner. Everytime you don't get the reviews regarding Muse that you want, you always do this. Always.
