There's no doubt that this hobby has gotten out of hand for me... While other guys are drawn to booze, coke or Vegas, my weakness is sex...

So for those members who say "it's only a $30 increase" in fact it's $30 x 4 = $120 per month when weekly visits are taken into account...

In any business 80% of the business comes from 20% of the clients, so what happens when those 20% can't afford to pay anymore ??? or wake up and smell the coffee like I did ???

It's all very well that the girls give up a certain amount of dignity etc, but if they want to pray to the God of Money, one gives up something in return...

It's the law of the Universe, Ying and Yang, etc etc.

Anyway, I guess I needed a kick in the ass to get things on track and this will be IT, coz the chance of me paying $260.00 for a 1 hour BS equals zero...

As a fellow consumer, I also don't like to see rising prices, nonetheless it seems to be a simple case of demand exceeding supply. SRM is clearly one of the leaders of their industry and they are justly demanding a premium for their services. As consumers, we have to decide whether their services are worth more than their competitors.

I think it is time to stop this thread. If you take a look at the prices again you will notice that they have dropped down. Not sure what they were before but compared to the 1st message in this thread there has been a change.

At least the prices don't go up and down daily like the Gasoline prices.

I'm not saying that mpa's are not well payed. I was only justifying our rate increase which was the first that our ladies received since we opened our doors 11 years ago.

I have read many threads on this board complaining and wondering how much money these girls make.
This is not a long term career, but it can have long term affects on your life. These girls should therefore be compensated. How much, is and will be determined by you, the consumer.

As for when was the last time you made $200.00 for a half an hours worth of work. When was the last time you went to work got naked with a stranger and rubbed them in all their naughty places.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Half of my paycheck is taken by McGuinty and Martin. What DOES a MPA pay tax-wise anyways? Probably the taxes on an minimum wage hourly rate, meanwhile they rake in 6 figures. Just not fair.

I agree that massageplanet.netites ( meant in the most affectionate way) think that we have more influence than we actually do. However, I've been told many times that massageplanet.netites only account for a small percentage of business. What I don't understand is how can this be determined, when a lot of massageplanet.netites value discretion so highly. I know there are some that will kindly greet an MPA with "Hi, I'm ***** from massageplanet.net", but I know that many do not want the association made. I don't buy it that a client can be singled out as a massageplanet.netite by his actions. i was probably the last client to get the old rate. as i was leaving after a session with heather last week, she showed me the new rate card that they were going to put up. the new prices are a drag. fantasy spa on steeles is a good alternative. not quite as upscale but the mileage is higher!
