The Meaning of Your Handle

My first MP experience was at 50 Yorkville. I went back a few days later only to find it closed. As a tribute, I chose Yorky as my handle.

Specter is of course the name of the crime syndicate that James Bond fought against all those years. I used to love the way Connery would say it with that Scottish accent. And being another way of referrring to a ghost or apparition it seems kinda of appropriate for a mysterious type of handle.

Besides, when I spell it correctly... Stu... the Word dictionary changes it to 'Stud' all the time... so I had to change the spelling since it made for awkward closings on letters etc.

From the character in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, one of my 5 favourite books. I added the "henry" in the middle from one of the other characters in the novel, Hank Reardon.

Seriously, I don't know where it came from. Goober is whatever, and McFly probably comes from the few brain cells retaining information about the Back to the Future movies. Probably.

If memory serves, Goober was a character in the old Andy Griffith show. McFly was a character in Back To The Future. I know, nothing to do with you, but that's what came to mind the first time I saw your handle.

Mine, all the good ones were taken, so I just took the title of my favourite record album.
