The #'s game

Has anyone ever seriously thought how much a popular MPA makes for one year? Lets go through some #'s shall we - and these are conservative.
Girl works four 7 hr shifts per week and works 48 weeks per year. Lets say she's booked 75% of the time. I'm assuming the girl keeps the extra charge paid for nude reverse or body slide - ranges from $80 to $100 at most spas. If she's good most guys go for the body slide rate so lets say she pulls in $95 per 40 min of work. Not including any tips this is what she would make:

28 x 0.75 x $142.50(hourly rate) x 48 = $143,640. I'm a professional accountant and don't make close to that......and I work 50-60 hr weeks on average with 3 weeks holiday.

Are my #'s off guys???

For the very top end of the scale I'd say that is the correct ball-park. That is the rate for the MOST popular girls. Even so, some of these girls don't work the 4 shifts but only 2 or 3.

I'd say the girls that are popular but not the most popular are still close to $90-110K range (if they put in the shifts).

Less expensive spas and less popular girls are probably in the $50-70K range. Either way, it's still better pay then what some of them could make in a regular job.

Even at these rates they probably spend more then you or I. Drivers, make-up, clothes, gym fees, travel, etc are probably proportionally higher then what you or I would pay. I'd hope they're smart enough to still pay taxes (tips) or they could one-day get a big surprise from the tax man.

I remember one tugger who I'm sure took in some decent cash tell me in an excited state during small talk that she was going to get a big fat refund. I indulged and said; "you mean you're not going to pay much in taxes b/c you've got good expenses to claim, or do you mean that you've been paying taxes through the year and now you've got expenses to get a refund?". Very confused, and almost irratated she said; "huh? I would never give the fucking government a dime, but they have to give me a refund, I made lots of money and people who makes lots of money get big refunds" ...

damn...and they say looks are not important in this world... my ass. I wonder how much porn stars rake in yearly.

However, a hot girl can only last 15-20 years at most in this business before they become old and undesirable. They're sort of like professional athletes who have short careers, but make a hell of a lot of money during that short time span.

One more thing... I could NEVER do what they do, even for the amount of money they make. Think about it...would I want to massage and do a body slide on old, disgustingly ugly, hairy, smelly, fat women? Hell no! And I'm quite positive most guys on here would not do that either even if they made 150K a year doing that. These girls deserve every cent and more.

the MPA's are a very special breed and deserving of every penny they make.
I have nothing but respect for these girls. I dont know how they are able to make it through some of the sessions they do.

A couple MPA's have told me how they sat at home crying before their shift.

The business takes an emotional toll on the genuinely nice girls in ways that we probably don't understand.

I certainly couldn't do it.

Girl is not so hot after 15-20 yrs. Avg may be more like 3-5 yrs.

It's mentally & physically exhausting.

P.S.: most don't work 48 wks/yr. Many take extended breaks.

I've often thought about what that toll is..... I think it's a tough cycle I mean how do you give it up when you get used to that kind of money? I guess the closest for us to understanding is how do you step away when you get used to gorgeous women?

I think the answer for both us the hobbyest and the MPAs is to realize there is more to life than money.

And I think the girls show us that because I'm sure they are offered crazy money in addition to the usual rates e.g. offers for sex or sugardaddy arrangements..... yet many of the girls do turn these down. This suggests there's more to it than the almighty dollar.

I will not deny the advantages of having money but for me my castle is lonely without a queen and I'd hang up the towel in a heartbeat for a fraction of the fantasy that we pay for.

I find myself slowly realizng there is more..... e.g. I know where to seek out higher mileage but I don't, I know there are lots of very attractive MPAs but I've tired of the pursuit of the next beauty.

It's like MacDonalds in a way. It's fast, cheap and easy but you soon learn (or take a long time to realize in my case) that there's more out there that's probably better for you.

Boy I got side tracked there back to the toll......

a distrust/disdain for stereotypical men (given who they have to deal with)
a desire to be seen as something other than an object (being reduced to tatas, kitty, etc)
a trapped feeling/a need to escape (notice the incidence of drugs/partying/travel)
a blank in the resume (not exactly the type of stuff you can put on the average resume)
a difficult time (given their income is mainly under the table cash)
a difficult time dating (e.g. finding acceptance, avoiding jealosy, not being the trophy)
a warped sense of money (budgeting is different when you make that kind of cash but I think they also appreciate it and want to enjoy it because they work so hard for it)

I haven't been to a massageplanet.net party but I can see your point. Valid argument.
I'm not disagreeing with whether they are entitled to earn that $$$, I think the good ones are worth every penny. But lets face facts if they weren't doing massagethey wouldn't come close to making that kind of coin in a regular job, nor have the flexible work schedule.

there are probably a only few that make the kind of money stated in the original post (few meaning more than ten less than twenty) and they make that for a few years at best. Meanwhile all the other thnings that have been talked about regarding emotional tolls and stuff work the girls over quite a bit. Can't really see it being worth all the hassle. K Douglas, over the long tuerm, you probably made the right decision being in accounting rather than this business.

Assume:
Door Fee = $40
Shifts = 2
MPAs per shift = 4
Shift Time = 6 hours
Avg. Session Length = 0.5 hours
Booking Rate = 50% (kinda high but ...)
Days in Operation = 360 days

So per MPA per shift ...
# of Customers per MPA per Shift = 6 hours x 50% Book = 3 hours or 6 customers

Door Fee per MPA per Shift = 6 customers x $40 = $240

Door Fee per Shift = 4 MPAs x $240 = $960

Door Fee per Day = 2 Shifts x $960 = $1,920

Door Fee per Year = 360 Days x $1,920 = $691,200
