Would he be wierded out if I randomly talk to him on facebook chat?

Theres this guy I sort of like. I don't have him on msn or have his cell number, so FB chat is the only way to contact him. We dont really talk, but we comment on eachothers satuses sometimes. Like the last one was that I wrote
'Why does Technologie hate me so much?'
and he wrote that it's because I wrote technology wrong and it doesnt like that
so then I wrote that I wrote ie instead of y cause I'm french lol
so then he just replied with

yeah, I just wanna send him a msg saying Yamaha sucks! to start up a convo (he's always saying to me that Arctic Cat sucks lol)

So should I msg him??
