I've been there yesterday. I went to Yu Ping a couple of times during a previous trip, but since I stay in the Pudong area, I wanted to give it a shot.
I had a little trouble finding the place, so let me provide more detailed instructions : the Hua Shen Tower is just behind Ba Bai Ban, it's black and there is a huge KTV at the main entrance, you can't miss it. The entrance for the sauna is on the west side of the building, just go to the 5th floor (A guy actually touted me for Sauna, so you might use those guys, too).

Once I was there, the most difficult was... no English at all. I also tried Japanese but no luck either. So off with sign language, but that went OK. I paid 656 RMB if I remember correctly. It was around midnight. Inside, the infrastructure is a bit better than Yu Ping : you have nice showers, extremely helpful staff and sauna, onsen (hot springs), etc. Then off to the girls... As opposed to Yu Ping, they are not behing a glass, you enter the room where they stand. As a resultm it seems that the girls don't really dare making eye contact, so it's hard to know which one is the most motivated.
I'd say their face/body is a bit below Yu Ping's, but I was not really horny yesterday, this might have clouded my judgment. Anyway, I picked up my beloved for the hour. There was no rope stuff in the room, so keep that in mind if you like that kind of thing. First post here. Just wanted to give my verdict on my first visit to Yu Ping. I went day time about 4.30. It was all very easy going and relaxed - I was probably the only caucasian there with the rest looking mainly Japanese. Get in - change in - locker room - shower - sit - go pick girls. I had a selection of about six - picked the one smiling most and with good eye contact - actually was probably a mistake and she was a bit podgy - about a 5, but she had nice breasts and good enough face.

My impression of the hour was it was good enough but I had expected more. It was really just all sex from straight off - I would have like a massage or this fire/ice thing I had heard but none of that. 2) To tell you that I was in Shanghai last week and that Yu Ping sauna is still alive. Regarding the access, additional metro stations have been open after zhongshang station so that you can reach Yu Ping walking 5 minutes from the metro station after zhongshang one (I don't remember the exact name).

A few words for people who still hesitate to go to Yu Ping: The area is very safe, employees in the sauna are very friendly (Even more if you speak a few chinese), the price is not expensive (I had two girls during more than one hour for 880 RMd).

Just a hint: In case you would like to reach Yu Ping with a taxi, try to go there after midnight as there will be no traffic (This is what I did the first night I arrived in Shanghai, I couldn't sleep and decided to catch a taxi at 2:30 am).

OK the place in pudong is just below Yuping price - before 6 pm is under 600rmb. I think it is 560. All you can drink I think as well. Tho who sits around and does all that much drinking while you are there?!

Yuping price comment: The second gal is a DEAL. it is 280 more in the early hours (pre-6? Whatever Aerosmith said) so if one is 600, 2 is 880. And it is at least triple the fun!

Yu Ping starts business at 2 PM (first shift), with more gals being available after 4 PM (start of second shift). The action keeps on rolling until 2 AM. Price is 600 RMB if you check out before 8 PM, and 700 RMB if you check out after 8 PM.

and for that question about distance to airport. If you are coming in internationally, it is far! PVG airport is way way east and yuping is pretty far west. So my guess is an hour + 15 minimum and that is if traffic is uncharacteristically kind. However, if you come in domestically from BJ or somewhere to Hong Qiao airport .... probably 10 minutes by cab....15 at most.

In Pudong there is a well known shopping center on corner of Pudong Lu and Zhangyang Lu called Next Age in english but the cabbies call it Ba Bai Ban (800 and a half?). Walk along Pudong road side half a block towards Shangcheng Lu and head inbetween the buildings and you will find Hua Shen Tower. Take elevator to 5th floor. Opens into the sauna. Quite classy and before 6pm quite cheap. The name isnt posted anywhere but on their business card it is Sacrosa NCT Essence. Shhhhhh. Its our secret. Now you all owe me a good reference I havent heard before (And I know Yuping, Shanghai Hotel, the crazy water place ..... )

some other details....
