OK. Against my better judgement, and despite all the bad reviews, foolish me thought they needed another chance to redeem themselves. After all their last review was years ago and maybe the staff has changed and maybe they have realized the error of their ways- NOPE!
Walked in first thing in the morning and greeted by Mia. Nice enough girl- 40's; 5'5"; 110 lbs. Shown to a room. The place is clean but very run down. Floor is worn. Doors are worn. Cabinets worn. Walls, doors and all around light switches are all stained with oil. Shower caulking mouldy.
I ask for a medium 1 hour massage for which the website helpfully quotes $80. Laid down naked and was quickly admonished to get under drape. She checks with me several times about pressure and several times the door chimes go off and she leaves for a minute each time to deal with it. Most of massage was over the drape but when I complained it was removed without question. The massage was very sub-par! Absolutely no tease (a few accidental touches kept me hoping...).
Come the flip, the negotiations begin- which I totally HATE Flat out $150 for happiness! She argued that massage was $100. I told her that's not what their website says, "Internet wrong! $100 for massage everywhere." (Yeah, maybe for a good massage...) She wouldn't budge lower than $140 when I offered $130 (at this point you'd think she would continue the massage with a lot of teasing to get "the little head" to fork over the extra $10, but we both stuck to our guns.)
I reluctantly handed over $100 for the massage and nothing for a tip. She showed me their brochure sitting on the counter where all the prices were updated (crossed out and scribbled in! Sheesh! They can't even afford to print new brochures??) Again, she stated that the standard rate for massages was $100 and that I wouldn't find any place lower. I informed her that XP was only $85 and happiness was free.
Needless to say, I'm not going back!
