After reaching some relevant posts from the very last, short listed Mayur bar as my debut candidate to revive my stressful life.

I booked Ola from Shiv Towers Thane to the bar (thanks to some forum members for sharing the location). Little sceptical if its the right place as the bar was nowhere unusual from the outside.

Mayur is located at a secluded place with a narrow lane and several auto rickshaw staring at people going inside the bar while welcoming them for a ride as one of the few passengers of their daily hope.


As i had taken the cab from my work location, wanted the driver to disappear before I could enter the bar. Fortunately there was a paan shop nearby where I headed to get some mouth freshner while talking to myself on phone and waiting for him to go away.


I entered the bar to see a young guy seated at the reception on the right. Showed him a finger (not my middle finger) indicating one and asked table for one. He gave me a confused look and probably murmured what?

I repeated the gesture and this time his face was rude as if he realized I am at the wrong place. Having two options either move to the right, out of the bar and present myself as a fool in front of those auto rickshaw wala or take left and just grab a seat.


I looked at my left, inside the bar to see several nice shape shadows looking at the drama happening. My face was surely blushing and I was embarrassed. Thanking the dark lights, I went inside and grabbed a seat.


Waiter presents me some non standard alcohol options to which I respond by asking for Corona. He says not available and I curse him that he will suffer from cancer only to reach my clinic in an ambulance to be saved by no one but me.


Several girls half my age surround my table but say nothing. The waiter brings a beer of his choice and asks me to choose a girl of my choice.
