UGH why do women always have to hate on eachother? I've been in this biz for a while hun, and I know my stuff. I know my risks and I dont do anything that crosses my lines or the lines of saftey. You do you.

If you could read you'd know that I was merely responding to these MPAs complaints about guys pushing the envelope.

As an MPA you cant expect much when MP prices are pretty similar to SP prices yet you get more from an SP...combined with the fact that FS did and still does go on in spas.

See half the problem is the MPs services can cost as much as SP services....and you get more with the SP.

I bet if the prices made more sense you would get less envelope pushing

Its not about money or mileage! neither guaruntee a great time. Its about needs, its about matching what you need with what we give...many times you walk in thinking you need one thing, and leave realizing what you really needed and/or got was something totally different.

Re: an asshole could really just be having a shitty day, a guy pushing for FS may just really want physical closeness, hell someone with a foot fetish might actually be into submission. Its our job to see, listen, feel, empathize. And then form the session.

In short...dont spend beyond your means, dont allow your expectations to overflow, and if high mileage is what you want, then go to the appropriate sources.

In MPAsquared's defense, I would have to say that getting herpes (HSV2) from asymptomatic viral shedding in areas OTHER than the mouth and genitals highly unlikely. In fact getting HSV-2 in the mouth is rare in itself, asymptomatic or not. That being said, its still possible.

Lets assume she has HSV2 (obviously I dont know, or beleive she does or doesn't, one way or the other) AND that she is giving slides during outbreaks or periods of viral shedding. So long as she avoids the mouth, genitals, and any apparent open sores the client should be fine, unless someone up there REALLY hates you.

So, MPAs are definitely less susceptible than a SP, but maybe the same or less than a stripper (if we stay within strict definitions...). That being said, viral shedding is thought to be responsible for up to 70% of transmissions, probably because it is often not perceptible to most people.

On a personal note, I think there is a fair amount of fear-mongering when it comes to STDs, because if people knew the statistics it would tempt the ill-informed or ill-educated to 'play the odds', which happens enough as it is.

As it is, it seems that on this forum most professionals and clients know the risks involved with these activities save for the unfortunate chap who started this thread...

I had this happen many times, on first visits with very popular MPA's from Platinum and SRM, and Enigma. Once it starts hard to stop, but days of worrying afterwards. What are the risks of herpes if you wash with alcohol afterwards?

uuuhh... you try spending your hard earned money for something that offers less than another similar priced option.

Sure the choice is up to the client to go elsewhere but many clients dont understand the "line" and its a little confusing...remember only a few years ago a client could walk into almost any MP and get the same level of service from an MPA as they would get from SP for the same money....they can still do it now, they just have to tread very very lightly at the right places

...but now the rules have "changed" supposedly... dont put all the blame on the clients; half the problem is your colleagues.

You work in a very "gray" profession and the pricing structure doesnt help

Well no ...BUT all it takes is a few spas....correction... all it takes is ONE of your colleagues to do this and now the expectations are raised...the client has no idea who does and who doesnt so hes going to push the envelope every time hes in new territory....nothing tried nothing gained right

Thankyou. Constructive criticism is not hate. In reference to an earlier post, you said that you can handle a board room. Why are you so shaken by my posts? My day job is in a boardroom setting, and my overall impression is that you would become flustered easily when put under any amount of pressure. I'd love to see the reaction at some of the higher end spas when the MPA walks back into the room and see that you're wearing a rubber, or catch you "strapping" one on once you've decided on a bs.....
