It can be! I was a scratch golfer back in my day - 3 or 4 times a week - some clubs I was playing at were at least $225 for a round and this is back in the day - so average per week was round 400... that's not including the clubs, balls, Shirts, hats, shoes, gloves, bets and of course.... 19th hole! - ha ha

Dude, a scratch golfer! Are you serious? That requires a lot of time and dedication, man...

Scratch player. Wow ! I was just a 6 handicapper when I was playing well in my mid 50s to early 60s. I lost touch after stopped playing for 5 yrs spending too much time on wrong holes.. Thanks to Asian Kiki and Korean Victoria..lol. The best I ever shot was 76 at Angus Glen playing together with PGA tour pro Bill Morgan and his father from back tees. Bill wasn't that long but his father was a long hitter. Their short games were just amazing. Sometimes in a good day I can still shoot pars at easy courses. One day I will be able to shoot my age at Angus Glen...lol

BTW.. You were from California. Have you ever played at Pebble Beach? It was like heaven to me. Spy Glass back 9 was was pretty tough for me.

Golf is very expensive...but depends on the course too. But equipment, lessons, etc. is not cheap. What do you think green fees are for a higher end course?

I do get to play quite a few of the best courses in Ontario due to my work which is covered.

I’m not too fussy When it’s on my dime on weekends.

Decent courses are expensive. Most expensive day was playing Doral twice in one day before it was owned by trump
Played the blue monster in the morning from the tips then the gold course in the afternoon
It was $325 and $125 for the repeat. That was 10 years or so ago.

I have played there 3 times. My two fav holes are the 6th hole and the 18th hole. Watching the deers crossing the fair ways was a nice experience. I am not very fond of the ferry ride across the lake though. my fav course in GTA is Copper creek. Makes you feel like you were in up north.

Yeah I like Copper Creek.
It’s going to be a 9 hole soon.
One of the owners is Fieldgate Developents.
Plans are to build residential homes.

Of these cases in Ontario, Toronto Public Health says it is currently monitoring 339 positive coronavirus patients in the city. Currently, 22 of these people are hospitalized and four of these cases have died. To date, there have been 13 other people diagnosed with COVID-19 in Toronto who have recovered from their illness.
Ontario has recorded 211 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, raising the total number of cases in the province to 1,355.

The province continues to see a decrease in the number of cases currently under investigation. Currently, there are 7,203 people awaiting test results, down almost 3,000 from Friday’s total.

Thanks. I am always following the news on 4 TV channels , CP24, CBC, BBC and CNN. If I want to entertain myself a bit, I watch CNN. Trump is fun to watch. I can see him feeling so uncomfortable whenever the little Dr Anthony Fouci is on stage.. Trump looks like he wants to kill the little guy but they need him..lol

Same with Angus Glen. The North course will be gone soon. So is Lebovic on Leslie north of Bloomington. They build the course to sell estate homes. One par 4 hole at Lebovic is unplayable for some players. You need to carry about 190 yds to reach the fairway. Not that easy for some guys.
Blue monster Doral, my son hate that course. He is a very good player but all his tee shots end up in bunkers. Thanks to Raymond Floyd. Total 134 bunkers the yr we played.

The best par 3 course is Turnberry golf course in Brampton , same owner as Eagle nest. 16 par 3s and two par 4s. Amazing condition and well maintained. Not that easy though.

Bought a house that she rented rooms out, condo here in Toronto and one in HK
Was renting a condo at don mills and Sheppard to do incalls in. Was charging $240/hour
She didn’t blow her money on Gucci and LV or gamble at casino.
I saw her at a massage place on Hwy 7 recently, getting a massage

We have lots of customers at JR who are serious golfers. One guy is a part owner of very popular private golf course..

Lots of JR customers belong to high end golf courses such as Wyndance, Copping Woods and Angus Glen. Wyndance club champion is my buddy who owns Golf wing. He is barely 5 ft tall but hit over 300 yrds all the time.
