I think that you are living with guilt. If the MP was doing something wrong it would have been a matter of time before they would have been caught. If you didn't do it, than maybe someone else would have, or the MP would have been stupid and would have continued until they got caught. Let it go and start to live for the now.

I also think that you are living with emotion. You have gotten too close and have not distanced yourself from the scene. I mentioned before that the personality of the individual is revealed in the posts of the member/handle. Since last year you have been under this cloud. Trust me when I say that MPA have to leave it at the door as well or else that clouded judgement will only lead to pain.




In terms of taking Rev place, you have done the right thing by stepping aside and I respect you for that.

In regards to Kayla's question ... do reviews harm massageplanet.net reputation. Some are of the view that some reviews are just too much and that we should tone them down while others believe that they are just fine. Others believe that Red Stilletto is in love with Pool while others believe it is the other way around.

This is a review board, we write reviews and discuss the industry. We are in deep negotiations as to how the reviews should be written given Mods and ByLaws and are conversing in a civilised manner as to what should be done.

It has also been determined that Indian Lover is a nice guy !

Yes gone but not forgotten. A few years back it was reviewed quite a bit and the girls working there were well known on massageplanet.net. I don't know for certain and I'm just speculating but I think the location had much to do with it's demise. Opening in the same plaza as a daycare is likely not such a good idea. One of your points I know. Neighborhood pressures can play apart as well.

I'm not saying that reviews are the only or even the main factor in LE/Bylaw activities. I'm just saying they play a part. And we should be more discreet.

I'm gonna throw down the gauntlet and say I support VBB on this.

VBB has been one of the very few trying to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage newbies to write reviews.

The reality is a small group of veterans can't keep the board going by themselves, and we need "fresh blood" to inject new ideas and perspectives.

If his reviews are "insensitive" or "explicit", then I challenge the moderators to edit them as they see fit....

The only way I see massageplanet.net's reputation being damaged is when guys use massageplanet.net as a "weapon" to get what they want from a lady. I've heard many complaints from the ladies that have said how much they hated massageplanet.net, etc.

However, they all recognize that massageplanet.net is the front line leader in advertising their services and most of them know we try to play fair. But like I've said before you cannot please everyone 100% of the time.

Okay, If you want me to but only if you believe that this community hasn't improved. I for one believe that it has, and I promote more reviews and less newbie bashing. I sat back and watched the downfall of this site and this section, you could taste the negativity it was so thick. Some guy even put up $250 bucks to get more MP reviews written !



To be honest it doesn't bother me, I rest easy and I move on and don't live in the past.

Thats okay because they are published on more than this board. Your edits would be easily seen by other members who would make their own decisions. Sooner or later I would have so many violations that I would get banned from here or voluntarily decide to not post and just stay on those other boards. I prefer the banned part, banned for not writing proper reviews. Imagine giving that explanation to other members who know that 99% of the membership do not contribute.



True, but no risk and no reward. I don't play anything I do safe in life, otherwise it would be boring. I push for change and always will. You may choose to play it safe, but that is not my lifestyle nor would I think differently about you for choosing it. I choose to enjoy the life that I have been given. Yes I take chances, but I am smart enough to know the outcomes, foolish as they may be.

Now I have been pushing the boundaries and no one has stopped me or interfered. I quite frankly see a change as more members are posting more reviews, even from the newbies who are really just members anyway who got to the party a little late.

I write my reviews and tell it like it is and I do hold back on many occasion. If someone asks me a question I try to answer it by promising to write a review and I deliver over and over again, recently with Monique for Milupa. What makes me happy is answering the other members questions and following up on my commitment. Those who I talk with by PM know me to be honest and helpful, and I am day in and out since I got here.

Yeah I understand ... as stated I never push for the extras, it is all what the MPA is comfortable doing. Of course it doesn't hurt to ask sometimes as well.

Yes, but once I got a phone call from my bylaw officer threatening me to be shut down.... that changed... it was edited out of the review on most times by the reviewer himself after I pm'd him. The above mentioned was also mentioned on massageplanet.net casually before my phone call too.

Kayla, we have different scale for 'damage'. IMO, getting tickets are less serious than hauled off. True with too many ticket lead to out of biz. Neither are experience to look forward to. By-law & Uniform are no different in you know where as oppose to you know where.

Yes, there are MPAs that ripe people off. MPA are only fooling themselves that clients are so dumb and not find out. There are also MPAs not worth seeing because of bad customer service or not fit your taste, take your pick. massageplanet.net is good info exchange to avoid these situations. Its one the reason that drew me to massageplanet.net in the first place. However, if without massageplanet.net, bad MPAs will be weeded out eventually, as people stop going, knowing the facts. Its the circle of life.

Actually, the two co-existed for a long time without LE intervention. Many of the people in the neighbourhood didn't even know it existed. Why it happened we may never know. I personally think that it was a combination of social/business/political pressure to weed out all the MPs in EBC.



My point is why be SO discrete. LE knows what goes on behind closed doors in regards to anything from Topless to Body Slides. If you mention in a review that you gave her a massage, it means that you choose Nude Reverse. In a court of law, when you are under oath, a lawyer will advise the client that it is much easier to admit to being naked than commiting purjury, and the sentence is less stiffer many times for cooperating no sentence whatsoever for the MPA. For the MP owner yes the charges and lose of a license can happen.

Scenario: LE chooses to bust every MP in GTA. All they have to do is get a judges and/or political (ie. Lawful) backing to do so. In only one 12 hour day it is estimated that over 100 MP will be raided city wide. That one day of work will take close to one year to finish and will cost the taxpayers a lot of money. LE has better things to do and real criminals to catch to be bothered with chasing down women that get naked and men who like to froloc.

How would any review written harm any review board? That doesn't make sense... review boards are for reviews. The harm doesn't fall on the board.. but on those establishments who may be affected by the review itself.



Well that's easy to figure out. It's illegal to give a release or hand job or sexual favour in any spa regardless of the bylaws. Those things shouldn't be mentioned in any review. In particular areas such as Richmond Hill and Vaughan (those are the areas that I personally know of) that it is written in the bylaw that the attendant shall be clothed at all times, reviews suggesting nudity should not be written. It's quite easy to write a review without saying that her pussy was shaven or that she has nice colored nipples. In Mississauga reviews that mention 'body slides' should not be written.. at least the part about her getting on top of the table to give the body slide or the word BS... because I believe it is in their bylaw that the attendants feet cannot leave the ground, however, she can be nude.

It wouldn't be that difficult for someone to write a guideline.. small guideline such as a paragraph in an individual thread that is made a sticky with the subject line of: 'Review Guidelines for Vaughan' for example. Instead, there are sticky's that are written generally or there is too much information in them or they specialize in one particular area.. etc.. etc..



... lol... it's about time. Should have been negotiations about this a long time ago IMHO... but whenever I brought it up... everyone thought it was in my imagination

Not to add more confusion to this thread but what you say above brings up another topic. Do you see how the confusion can begin for people on the board - look at the explaination we just showed to each other about what 'exactly' we are talking about.

Guy comes on the board and says... 'HFH just got busted' or 'HFH just got raided'.... so what exactly is busted or raided? In one person's case it may be simply that I had an inspection during the time that the person was here... but to many others... a paddy wagon showed up.. hauled customers off to jail and girls... and left me with criminal charges. HFH has never been charged criminally, no one has ever been removed from the premises, no warrants have ever been issued - but you can see my frustration when a post like that is made.

sorry i don't have time to read all the posts on the subject but here's my quick thoughts:

- my main purpose in coming to this board is to read and get a feel for what a particular mpa looks like... is she thin? chubby? shaved? does she have naturals or man made? any piercings or tatoos (a big no-no for me), smoker? what's her personality? is she friendly? snotty? ... i don't make my mpa decision based on one review, i decide based on a mix of reviews and i try to read between the lines

- i also come to this board to be on the lookout for bad mpa's, if there are a few negative reviews from different posters about a particular mpa then a bell will ring in my head not to go see that mpa, I do not like to be ripped off.

- i take all reviews (positve and negative) with a grain of salt. Your Mileage May Very

It all boils down to this... prior to knowing that massageplanet.net existed (or even prior to internet) i got ripped off a two or three times... thanks to massageplanet.net (and experience) i don't get ripped off... if people (mpa's, owners, pimps, whatever) don't like that then SCREW THEM. I guess you didn't want to read all our long winded ramblings but basically I've been saying mostly what you just stated. Which I know you've been saying for years. VBB and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum but we are remaining civilized. Though some are encouraging fisticuffs to settle this, we won't go that route. We have a loose plan to meet over a few drinks to discuss this tender subject further. Pool will come along to moderate and Paul is buying the drinks.
