Predictions for when Spas will Reopen?

I just talked to some spa owners. They said they are not desperate to reopen the spas until it is safe to do so.

A few places told me that too and then texted me later to say they were available. I actually went today for the first time in ages. All I will say is it was friggin' awesome. However, the MPA did wear a mask the whole time but thankfully no gloves (and she still took all her clothes off). Funny, although I've been to this place many times, I never saw this particular MPA before so I have no idea how she looks like (maybe that's a good thing LOL), but her body was hot. She told me she doesn't really work too often but was comfortable to come and see me because the owner had some good things to say about me. The whole spa was closed. She came to meet me and then we both left after the massage. She wiped everything down on the way out and I didn't have to touch anything. Sorry, I don't want to ruin a good thing so will keep this to myself (no PMs please). But as others have said, many places are open. I know of around 6-7 places myself...all semi-legit except one, which is a holistic place.

As others have said, there are lots of spas open right now...including some of the ones that are constantly mentioned on here. Helps if you know the owner though...

I highly doubt that but I was a good customer there...funny, when I called I didn't even say who I was. I have called there before the virus...so I'm wondering if owners record and save customer numbers.

It does not matter if we know that person or not. Some people, could be our close friends, got the virus, without even knowing and of course without knowing pass it on to us when we are in close contact. At this time, any contact with another person could put us at risk. Therefore a RMT knows me well but does not want to take me at this time.

Yea they do keep a record. Somw spas will ignore you if youcall them constantly for schedule and not showing up.

Yeah, I hear you but I asked the owner if my regular was working and she said no. Plus, I've read good reviews on this particular MPA before. I really needed a nice massage for my back so it didn't bother me that she wore a mask (just like that movie...Eyes Wide Shut). Plus, as we all know, the mask protects me more than it protects her so it's all good.

The more and more I see politicians on TV, the more I dislike them. Toronto Health now just came out with an interactive map showing all hot spots / communities. We should have had this months ago so the public could have stayed way from those hot spots areas. Now I can stay away from Northeast Scarborough and Northwest Etobicoke. DF may be hitting the pipe...

They never tell us the whole story. For example, out of those daily cases, it would be nice to know how many are in isolated places like old age homes, jails, etc.

But I guess it keeps us from being complacent and thinking everything is ok...

Haha, maybe. Doesn't bother me that much because it protects me more than her...but gloves for a massage would be a non-starter for me. Some guys, like XTC, who need DFK would not like a mask, obviously.

Also, it was my first time seeing her too. I'm sure with regulars and faves, masks would be less of an issue.
