Yes there is a specific reason, he's employed the number of girls he needs to run trhe bar and also the kitchen. He doesn't want half of the girls being bf'd and then not being able to offer a correct service level to clients. Not to sure why you fail to comprehend a no bf policy, nor why you feel this will not succeed, it already has. Type of clientele the exact same as every other bar owner, expats for the regular all year trade and tourists for the high season. Obviously Aussie based tourist but you will find a good spread of different nationalities in there, he has got 140 members for the friday draw, wonder how many other bars in Kamala have had 140 clients in the last month let alone had them sign up for the membership.

Someone just gave a more than glowing report on a bar either Surin or Bang Tao called Cats, on the beach does supposedly brilliant food.

Don't go that way very often, probably once every 3 months when I decide a little change of scenery is required, had a good night in the bars at the Laguna entrance, not sure if that area is still Cherngtalay or not, ended up in Big Mans Bar, the name of which has now completely escaped me.

Called in to the Beergarden in Lala last Tuesday arvo at 4.30pm. I was the only customer and sat with Rudi. There were 10 girls on staff. About 45 minutes later another bloke came in... it is indeed very slow.

There were about 4 blokes in the Great Kamalalalala Aussie Bar tonight. But it's so bloody dark in there now you end up stumbling around and walking around with your hands held out in front of you trying to find your way around.

Probably trying to save on the leccy.

Saw what Little Aussie Bar has become last night and can't remember what it was called. It was all a bit fuzzy. Another girly bar with some new girls in there.

Ex Sunshine bar had a couple nice girls. I think Mays has just become a knocking shop to be honest............But that's not a bad thing! :neutral:

Fooked Malc up at Black Cats today, drove past in the Popemo with beard, then about an hour later on the Pig, less the beard! Bit of a double take! Tch!

Point taken. But it is still my opinion that it would’ve had a better chance of success by following a model more similar to the Beer Garden. And they seem to master the combination of kitchen and BFs just fine. I know some that would choose a different bar because of this specific policy (for obvious reasons). But hope it all works out ok of course.

A bit premature to call it a success already though.

Bamboo (the old bamboo...the old bamboo) is openning Bamboo2 on Valentine's Day...its up near Mioaw's Bar....one of the last on the left (hang on a minute let's just check left again...555) on the way over to Surin..looking forward to this one...despite the fact that some of their gals are a little older they come with the bonus of knowing how to have a bit of fun

fairy bread is just white bread with butter and srpinkles/hundreds and thousands. im not really a fan. it is only really made for kids partys and stuff.

milo is chocolate powder that u mix with milk. im sure u would have something similar?

violet crumble is exactly the same as a crunchie (if u know what that is?)
