Some noob questions:
whatโs the difference between a dance bar and an orchestra bar and a service bar?
whats the difference between a red coat wala and black coat wala
finally, whatโs a decent tip when a girl simply dances in front of you for a few mins (with you asking)?
Jai Maharashtra!!
1).
SB = girls available from 2pm onwards; you can sit with girls, smooch/grope/fondle and depending on the SB get a HJ or BJ. Best time to go is between 3pm to 6pm for maximum fun. The quality of girls is generally the lowest among all types of bars ; drinks are usually cheaper as compared to DB and OB ; bar ambiance is non-existent, some SBs are pitch-dark - you literally need a flashlight to check out the girls ; pay them around 500 for 45mins for "service" in the bar ; you can take them out for "entry" to nearby designated lodges for around 3k all inclusive
DB = open from 6pm to 10:30pm (some open till midnight); you can make girls dance for around Rs200-Rs300 per song; you can sit with the girls and in some low-end DBs, indulge in some light groping/fondling... not as openly adventurous as SBs. The quality of girls is generally better than SBs. Drinks are more expensive as compared to SB ; Ambiance is very good at high-end DBs that also double as OBs after 10:30pm ; some DBs offer "entry" to their designated lodges for around 3.5k to 7.5k
OB = Open from 10:30 - 1:30am (some open will 3am) ; you can make girls dance for around Rs1000 per song (Rs500 is enough in some low-end OBs) ; music system and ambiance is generally pretty good ; the Orchestra singers are generally terrible ; the OB girls need a little more effort/money to take out. There is a lot of discussion on this particular thread on this topic ; RTFF to get more insight
2). Generally the Red Coat wala is the "Captain" or the highest ranked waitstaff (one level below the bar manager). There may be more than 1 red coats in every DB/OB who supervise multiple waitstaff. In some OBs. the Red Coats are replaced by Beige/Khaki coats (like in Heaven6). Black Coat walas are "Stewards" who manage the waiters assigned to their tables. If you wish to take out a girl from a bar, the quickest route could be to approach a Black/Red coat and get them to arrange a girl for you based on your preference. Note that in SBs, none of the waitstaff wears coats.
3) In SBs, you don't need to tip a girl per dance. Pay her at the end of your session (Rs 500 for 45 minutes or Rs300 for 30 minutes is sufficient).
In DBs, Rs200 to Rs300 per
dance is enough. I usually pay Rs500 for a set of 2 songs. The DJ expects at least Rs50 per song request. In low end DBs, you can get away with not paying per song if the girl is sitting at your table. Pay her at the end - around 2k for a few hours works in low-end DBs like Rasna and Ramesh.
In OBs, an average of 1k per song works. In some low-end OBs like Magnet OB, Sona OB and Ramesh OB, Rs500 per song suffices. In some high end OBs like Heaven6 you might have to pay 2k per song just to get a
popular girl's attention. If you just want to chat with OB girls without making them dance, a tip of Rs100 is enough (every time you call her over and spend a few minutes chatting). This works out cheaper than making them dance. In popular OBs like Heaven6, there is always some MrMoneyBags making it rain. In such a scenario, just sit back and enjoy the show at someone else's expense.
